Montelukast: Systemic eosinophilia, sometimes presenting w/ vasculitis consistent w/ Churg-Strauss syndrome may occur. Avoid concomitant use w/ aspirin or NSAIDs in those w/ aspirin sensitivity. Levocetirizine: Patients w/ predisposing factors of urinary retention (eg, spinal cord lesion, prostatic hyperplasia); epilepsy & those at risk of convulsion. Pruritus may occur when stopped. Concurrent use w/ alcohol. Inhibits response to allergy skin test; a wash-out period of 3 days is required before performing them.
Co-Altria Montelukast: Do not use to treat acute asthma attacks. Not to be substituted abruptly for inhaled or oral corticosteroid.
Co-Altria Ped Montelukast: Neuropsychiatric events in adults, adolescents, & childn may occur. Levocetirizine: Pregnancy & lactation.
